Scandic Swania is beautifully located in the town centre, by the waterfront of the canal. The building was designed and built in the early 1900s as the city hall, and the original paintings on the ceilings still survive. Our restaurant, Café Grand Bar & Matsalar, is decorated in a modern style while retaining some of the old, charming details. This is an ideal place to enjoy a good meal while watching the ships passing by outside the window. The hotel has 196 rooms, decorated in Nordic style and fully equipped with WC, shower, TV and telephone.
