Scandic Hamar is an hour's drive from Oslo Gardermoen airport. Hamar is known for its 1994 Winter Olympic arenas. Our friendly hotel is in a central but quiet area, only 10 minutes' walk from the city centre, and is one of the largest, most flexible conference centers in Norway. Rebuilt in 2001, the meeting facilities can be used for almost any occasion, with a capacity of 1150 and the latest audiovisual equipment. There is free parking for over 500 cars outside the hotel, which is popular with business travelers for its easy access, cozy atmosphere and quiet surroundings. Our restaurant, Båsen, serves all kinds of meals, from plain one-course light dishes to more elaborate meals. We also offer banquets and catering.
