Bosco della Spina is a wonderfully renovated typical italian farm estate located in the ancient Medieval village of Lupompesi. The estate offers 14 suites, all decorated with great care. Each apartment shows a panoramic view of the Murlo Valley too. The Meoni family hired Tuscan artisans to make furnishings for the apartments and they are fabulous. All the decorations have been created using up-to-date modern technologies, but in order not to lose the antique feel of the building, natural materials such as solid wood, terracotta, stone and wrough iron have been used The décor is elegant, subtle — refined and comfortable. Each apartment offers a different services (depending on the number of occupants, how much privacy, accommodation requests, etc.) — all are wonderful. The restaurant (with a central fireplace and large terrace) serves refined Tuscan cuisine using Medieval recipes. Some of the specialties are: tagliatelle with porcini mushroom sauce, cheese-filled spinach ravioli, duck with wild fennel and potatoes, roast pork in pastry, chicken fricassee with olives and peas, panna cotta (cooked cream) with fruit sauce — and much more. Enjoy dinner with a wonderful Chianti from the cellar, our wine list includes many local wines. There’s a bar, a shop where you can buy goods from the farm (honey, wine, olive oil, jam, confectionery and kitchen implements such as the dishes, glasses and furnishings of the hotel), a swimming pool, terraces with view, a small beauty and health centre (massages, reflexology, aromatherapy) and gracious hosts — all this assures a very pleasant stay.
